University of Barisal, is the only common public university in Barisal division and the country’s 33rd public university. It has commenced educational actions on 25 January 2022. Demand for University of Barisal was 1st made at 1960 before independence of Bangaladesh. At 1973, then Prime Minister Sheikh Mujibur Rahman announced to set up a University of Barisal throughout a rally held the city. President Ziaur Rahman made a related assertion of towards a university in Barisal as effectively in November 23, 1978 while he as going to a rally in Barisal Circuit House.
Important Dates of Admission 2022-23
Admission test, 2022 will be conducted: 03.11.12, Saturday at 10.00-11.00 AM for Ka, Kha, Ga and Gha at 3.00-4.00 PM. The unit wise seat plan has been announced.
