UNIVOTEC Admission

UNIVOTEC Entry Qualification for Bachelor of Education in Technology Degree

  • NVQ Level 5 qualifications in the related technology spot

OR

  • Any alternative diploma of at minimum 1 year full period or eqivalent part time, in the related technology area, with 2 years of post diploma industry/educating knowledge in the related field appropriate to the Academics Council of UNIVOTEC
  • NVQ Level 6 or higher diplomas/degrees may be given credit excemptions

UNIVOTEC Entry Qualification for Bachelor of Education in Technology (English Language Educating Degree)

  • National Diploma in Training Technology (English Language Educating) provided by NITE(SL) / UNIVOTEC

OR

  • National Diploma in Teaching (English) by NIE at Colleges of Education

OR

  • National Diploma in English provided by Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education

OR

  • 02 years expertise in Educating English in a known institute after end of the course

OR

  • Any alternative certification appropriate to the Academic Council of the university
  • Entry Qualification for Bachelor of Education in Technology in ICT (Network Technology)
  • NVQ Level five qualifications in the related technology spot

OR

  • Any alternative diploma of at minimum one year full time or comparative part time, in the related technology area, with 2 years of post diploma industry expertise in the related field appropriate to the Academic Council of UNIVOTEC
  • NVQ Level 6 or higher diplomas may be granted credit exemptions

UNIVOTEC Entry Qualification for National Diploma in Television Post-Production Technology(NDTPT)

  • GCE A/L Exam 2 subjects in any stream with computer skills.

OR

  • GCE (O/L) Exam which includes Mathematics with computer literacy and at minimum 3 years of expertise in the related field.

OR

  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 certification of the field of Media Industry or any alternative related program recognised by the TVEC and at minimum 2 years of expertise in the related field.

OR

  • Technical personnel in the film or television industry or trainer, trainers providing in the specialized and vocational industries authorized by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC)

UNIVOTEC Entry Qualification for National Diploma in Training Technology-ELT

  • G. C. E (A/L) and a credit pass in English Language at the G. C. E. (O/L) exam or conclusion of National Certificate in English (NCE) or efficiently finished English language program of any alternative known institution.
