Al-Khair University Admission section is a chartered University founded in 1994 under an enactment of the Legislative Assembly of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir. It is the 1st non-public Al-Khair University in Azad Jammu & Kashmir and 4th of its kind in Pakistan.

Al-Khair University Admission Status:
The University is a Chartered University founded under the Al-Khair University Azad Jammu & Kashmir Act (XXVIII) of 1994. The Act stipulates, “WHEREAS it is expedient to offer for the organization of the Al-Khair University in Azad Jammu & Kashmir and for matters additional thereto”.
HEC Recognition:
The Higher Education Commission, Government of Pakistan, identifies the Degrees of University as equivalent to communicating Degrees of the other Universities of Pakistan. The Al-Khair University is a full-fledged member of the Acquaintance of Commonwealth Universities (ACU). A great selection of students of the University have determined recruitment in foreign countries and many are subsequent higher studies in international universities.
