Required Physical Standards:

Both male and female can apply for the short service courses. Male candidates should have 5 feet and 4 inches height and female should have minimum 4 feet 10 inches can apply for the SSC Induction.
The detail requirement for induction of each branch can be found as below:

Engineering Branch:

Male citizens of Pakistan can apply at the engineering core through the SSC Induction as a pilot officer. The maximum age allowed to apply for the commission is 30 years till the announcement of advertisement in PAF. The twenty-week training course will be offered to all selected students to earn an engineering degree to further get hands-on experience in the engineering core. Candidates having a bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 62% marks from any recognized national or international institution are eligible to apply. Education Branch:

The pilot officers are recruited in the education core as a psychologist. Male citizens with maximum 30 years of age can apply. Candidates specialized in psychology with an at least 2^nd division from any of the recognized universities can apply for the commission. However, students with the specialization in clinical psychology shall be given preference. The students will be given 20 weeks training after selection and recruitment at the PAF institutions.

A&SD Civil Engineering Branch:

Candidates with BSc / BE in Civil Engineering with at least 2.5 CGPA or 63% marks in the annual education system from any local or Pakistani university recognize by higher education commission. However, students must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council. The age of the applicants applying for the commission must not exceed 30 years. Successful candidates will go through 20 week training period to get the rank of a pilot.

Legal Branch:

The PAF also induces professional Pakistanis in the legal core to look after legal matters. Candidates with an LLB in 2^nd division from a recognized university are eligible to apply. However, students with practical experience would be given preference. Only male candidates are allowed to apply to the commission for the legal core.  After completion of the training period, the rank of pilot officers will be granted to the candidates.

Meteorological Branch:

Candidates with Masters in Physics, Maths, Meteorology with at least 50% marks from any renowned local or foreign university can join the PAF through SSC Induction. The selected students will further give training on signals and meteorological devices during the tenure of training.

Reasons for Ineligibility:

• Applicants are ineligible if they are twice rejected by the PMA / ISSB / PAF or Naval courses. Those candidates will not be given a third chance to the testing.
• Applicants already tested within the last 120 days from any Armed Forces Board are ineligible.
• Applicants are suffering from positive hepatitis A, B and C are unfit to apply for the PAF.
• Students are expelled / debarred from the service on moral and behavioral grounds stands ineligible.
• Students convicted by his any act of the law are not eligible.

• Two passport photographs are required with white background.
• Educational documents and mark sheets.
• A copy of NIC of the candidate.
• B Form and residence certificate.
