SSCMS offers degree in medicine and dental surgery. The degrees in the college are

  • BDS

MBBS

Bachelors of Medicine and Bachelors of Surgery (MBBS) is a 5 years bachelors program offered by the college. The course outline and examinations of the degree are supervised and according to the regulations enforced by PMDC and also as adopted by the University of Karachi. The curriculum is up to date and revised according to the instructions by PMDC.

BDS

Bachelor of dental surgery (BDS) is an academic program of dentistry that comprises of 4 years of studies. The curriculum of the degree is revised and supervised by PMDC and PDA (Pakistan Dental Association).

Admission Procedure:

Application forms along with prospectus are available in admission office at the cost of RS. 1500. All information about time framing and fee is available in prospectus. Application form with fee processing fee (non-refundable) and other supporting documents should be submitted with in the given deadline.

Sir Syed College of Medical Sciences Eligibility:

Eligibility criterion is same as set by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council. O-Level or other international certified candidates needs to provide equivalence certificate issued by the IBCC.

Medical hospital is located at main Korangi road. The hospital has state of the art health facilities. The hospital is well equipped and located in economically depressed area where there is no other hospital near. the hospital was established to provide all facilities to the students of medicine for their clinical practice
Sir Syed Dental Hospital is also located near to SSH. The hospital was established to provide students of BDS all necessary facilities for clinical practice in their dentistry degree.
