The Govt. Training College Multan, now among the campuses of the University of Education Lahore, was founded in 1959. But due to non accessibility of appropriate developing in Multan at that time, the college was primarily began at Bahawalpur. In 1963, the college was altered to Multan in a assimilated creating at Abdali Road and finally to its own building in the existing campus at Bosan Road Multan in 1970.
