Virtual University Islamabad Admission, BS DUAL DEGREE PROGRAM:

A “DUAL DEGREE” is an accepted program leading to the conferral of 2 degrees as separate honours upon an applicant who has complied with the Program Needs of the Virtual University of Pakistan for dual degree”.
Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology is currently providing BS in Computer Science (BS in CS), BS in Information Technology (BS in IT) and now has designed dual degree Course (BS in CS-BS in IT).
Eligibility for admission to a dual degree course should be dependent upon an end of program work need of 1-degree course (either BS in CS or BS in IT) with lowest CGPA 2. 25 and the applicant should be a registered student of Virtual University of Pakistan.
However, no applicant should be permitted to enroll and appear at the same time in programs of 2 University i. e., BS in Computer Science, BS in Information Technology programmes leading to 2 separate degrees / diplomas. The enrolment of such a student in one program will instantly be terminated and fee paid will be forfeited.

(Public Administration)

The Bachelor of Science course in Public Administration is designed to meet certain requires of the public sector. Aims of the course include:

  • Offering a liberal arts education from the University’s Core Curriculum;
  • Assuring an understanding and appreciation of the political, social, and economic aspects of public services;
  • Arranging students for entry and middle-levels professional positions in public service.

SEMESTER WISE BREAKUP OF 2-YEAR BACHELORS PROGRAMS:

B.Sc. (Computer Science):

After the successful end of TWO-Year B. Sc. (Computer Science), the student is needed to continue FOUR-Year BS in Computer Science or BS in Information Technology by acquiring remaining at minimum 72-credit hrs in at least FOUR semesters.

Diploma Program:

The Virtual University of Pakistan is providing subsequent diploma Courses:

  • Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration
  • Diploma in Computer Science and Information Technology

Admission of Foreign/Dual National Candidates:

Admission of Foreign/Dual National (Residing within Pakistan):

International/Dual Nationality holder applicants living in Pakistan (provided can understand Pakistan’s National Language ‘Urdu’) and want to study within Pakistan have to follow prescribed method of Higher Education Commission, Islamabad. These kinds of applicants are needed to submit subsequent documents to the Admission Office, Virtual University Lahore of Pakistan, M. A. Jinnah Campus, Defence Road off Raiwind Road, Lahore, Pakistan:
Filled out original admission application form and its 1 photocopy:

  • 5 properly filled out and signed copies of HEC student details sheet
  • 2 attested copies of Visa and Passport
  • 2 attested copies of Proof of Nationality
